Odd Meter II-V-I for Trumpet (or anybody!) | Exercise of the Week #20

Download the PDF of “Odd Meter II-V-I

For this Exercise of the Week, I’m fulfilling another request – this time from Brian White who wanted an odd meter II-V-I to work on. This is a little outside of the things I usually practice, so I found a pattern in an old notebook and edited it from 4/4 to 7/8 – included in this is a few details about how I went about that.

I can’t believe we’re up to the 20th EOTW!!! Check back every Monday for a new Exercise of the Week! #EOTW #GoPractice

If you have questions or comments about this video, we want to hear them! If there’s a specific technique you’d like to target with an #EOTW, please tell us – your suggestion could be the topic of a future video!
